He has written and published four books: A Walk on the Park, Moods of Presque Isle, Whisper Across the Pond and Images of America- Presque Isle.   Gene is currently putting the finishing touches on his latest book, “A History of Presque Isle - -As Told Through Conversation with the Park’s Legendary Hermit, Joe Root.”   This new book is scheduled for release by Mid-May of 2013.</description>
