As mentioned in a prior blog, my bulbs, seeds and a few live plants have arrived by the friendly UPS truck. That means that summer is just around the corner, RIGHT. Yes I know, I’m dreaming. But at least I have one believer. Jen Salem, TREC’s own resident Master Gardener, has been putting together a full schedule of Garden Programs for you and I to help solve our gardening problems, learn about TREC’s special gardens, and at the same time impart practical wisdom about how to have a wonderful spring and summer in your garden and yard.
She has enlisted a number of other talented Master Gardeners to help her with more than 20 programs that cover the April through December time frame. All sessions will be held at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. In this blog I will tell you about the six programs that are scheduled between now and June 1, 2013. Most programs are free and require no pre-registration. The programs look to be quite fun and informative.
