A sunrise on the park
The following is the October schedule of events and programs on Presque Isle and at TREC for October of 2012. It is a month full of programs and looks like a lot of fun.

Geocache Bash Registration opens at 9:30 a.am. at the cookhouse for the 10 a.m. hunt. 12 temporary geocaches and 2 new permanent caches are hidden throughout the park and offer varying levels of difficulty. GPS unit required. Data sheets provided. Cost $ 3,00 Bring a lunch |

Presque Isle after Dark: Legends of Presque Isle Meet naturists at Pine Tree Pavilion for a Halloween themed hike on the interior trails of Presque Isle. Enjoy stories on ghosts, owls, bats and spiders on this 20mile hike ages 6 and up. No Fee No Registration.

Presque Isle in View: Visions of Fall 3 day Workshop
Local photographer Ed Bernik hosts this three day workshop that covers elements of setting up your camera, selecting creative shots, proper exposure for great outdoor pictures, and Photoshop basics. \ Bring your own DSLR camera, lens, tripod, polarizing filter and a graduated neutral density filter. Cost $ 165.00
Registration by October 26 required
Bring your own lap-top with graphics-editing software- – -Dress for the weather with comfortable hiking shoes.
