            When you visit Presque Isle you want the trip to be enjoyable.  So do others. There are just a few things that you can do to make your and others’ visits wonderful experiences.  They are:

Plan Ahead and Prepare

 

• Select appropriate equipment for your visit
• Package food properly
• Learn the park’s rules and regulations
• Know what to expect

 

Pack it in and Pack it out

 

•  Reduce litter
• Dispose of trash and garage properly
• Properly dispose of what you do not take home
• Do not dispose of food scraps in lake, bay or lagoon water’s or around your area

 

Leave what you find

 

• Respect the environment
• Avoid damage to trees and plants
• Leave all natural artifacts
• Keep any cooking fires to a minimum

Respect other visitors’ desires for a peaceful outdoor experience!
