Beaches

Presque Isle is Pennsylvania's only "sea shore." Its long stretch of beaches make it a popular hotspot to both locals and visitors each summer. Beaches are open daily from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day unless otherwise posted and each offer a unique experience at the park. The regular hours are 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This spring, we will be taking panoramic photos of all the beaches, which we will pair with a comprehensive map of beach amenities and activities. The goal is to offer you a complete picture of what's at each beach before you head for a day of sun.

Beach 1

Description:

This wide, popular beach -- closest to the park entrance -- is used by many families and singles and is protected from east winds.

Barracks Beach

Description:

A popular beach connected to Beach 1

Description:

Most popular site for teens, especially high school students.

Beach 7 - Waterworks Beach

Description:

Often used as a site for picnics and reunions; fishing available in two large groups.
